The New Children's Hospital is part of The New Hospitals Development, an investment of over £420 million into healthcare services for Manchester and the North West.

The New Children's Hospital Appeal, spearheaded by Bob the Builder, aims to raise £20 million to support projects within the new hospital and will provide:

• The latest equipment for diagnosis and treatment
• A place for parents to stay when their child is in hospital

The Appeal will ensure that when it opens in 2009, Manchester and the North West's new children's hospital will be the very best it can be.
